About Us
The Journal of Experimental Research (JER) is the official journal of Enugu State University of Science and Technology Enugu. This peer-reviewed journal is published biannually in June and December. The two yearly issues will constitute a volume. The journal is targeting a strong print subscriber base in excess of 100,000 and an on-line access to serve a larger audience in excess of one million people.
Aims and Scope
JER is an forum for communication among academics and industrialists interested in current research in scientific, technology and applied aspects of nature. The journal offers rapid exchange of novel and significant information gained from experimental investigations on all aspects that are pertinent to the existence of man and his environment.
- Issues related to the life sciences will give emphasis on the functional morphology and morphogenesis of man and higher vertebrates. Core areas of plant science must gear toward the application of concepts to solve the human environment.
- Issues related to the physical science and technology must address relevant aspects of human nature and scientific and technological concepts for enhancing the natural phenomena.
- Issues on medical sciences will address areas of investigative medical research. Core areas of medical practice and medical case studies will require very thorough scrutiny for possible publication.
- Other areas of research which may be interest to JER must be applicable to the development of human nature.
- Published articles are freely accessible for download.
Types of Papers
The journal will accept the following for publication:
- Original papers on experimental research.
- Consideration may be given to the publication of theoretical contributions which may include innovative provocative hypothesis (funded and have potential promise for new avenues of research).
- Invited Reviews: This must be subject to the decisions of the Editorial Board. However, suggestions to the Board concerning reviews on current topics of high interest are welcome.
